What are clickworkers?

The humangrid platform offers digital jobs to registered members – we call them clickworkers. Clickworkers are “freelance” providers of an independent service within the humangrid workplace. As with other kinds of agencies, these freelancers enter a contractual relationship with humangrid. All your personal information will be kept strictly confidential.

How are jobs assigned?

Each individual clickworker selects the work he likes to take on from the pool of jobs on offer. This pool of available jobs however, is not the same for each clickworker. You qualify for certain jobs through work samples, training, personal preferences and interests, your education and your language skills. Depending on your profile and qualifications, you will selectively be offered certain jobs. Conversely, a clickworker may be excluded from certain kinds of jobs. Clickworkers receive a predetermined fee per job for their work.

What are the advantages of being a clickworker?

Each and every task in the humangrid constitutes a small, independent micro-contract. Depending on skill, diligence, speed, practice and concentration, hourly wages of 10 € per hour can be obtained. We assume that on average a clickworker will earn € 9.50 per hour. It is your own choice when, where and how much you would like to work. As each job will often be completed in seconds, work can easily be interrupted and resumed later. Where you work is also entirely up to you: all you need is an Internet connection and one of the latest browsers. Clickworkers are not bound by time or place.

Who can become a clickworker?

Whoever can read this website using a web browser has already met the technical requirements. Furthermore, one needs to be of legal age. Whether someone really has the required qualifications will become clear by his job performance in the humangrid.
